Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective September 3, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Capital Voices receives through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Who we are
Capital Voices operates capitalvoices.media from Toronto and Vancouver, Canada. In this policy, “Capital Voices,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Capital Voices business and website.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@capitalvoices.media.
2. Information we receive
- Waiting-list applications and messages. If you join the waiting list or email us, we receive the business contact and company information you provide, including your name, title, company email, company name, stock symbol and exchange, public website and announcement links, and the content of your message.
- Meeting information. If you use the Google Calendar appointment scheduler, Google receives the information you submit, such as your name, email address, selected time, and any meeting details. Capital Voices receives the resulting booking information.
- Basic technical records. Our hosting provider may create server logs containing information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and error or security events.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct meetings, evaluate a potential business relationship, operate and secure the website, troubleshoot problems, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted through this website to make automated decisions about you.
4. Service providers and transfers
The site uses DreamHost for hosting, Google Fonts for web typography, and an embedded Google Calendar appointment schedule for booking. These providers may process technical or booking information under their own terms and privacy practices. Google may process information outside Canada.
Review the Google Privacy Policy before using the scheduler. You may instead contact us directly by email.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business reorganization, subject to applicable safeguards.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
As of the effective date, Capital Voices does not place advertising or audience-analytics cookies through this website. Embedded or externally hosted services, including Google Calendar and Google Fonts, may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, or similar technologies according to their own policies and your browser settings.
6. Retention and safeguards
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal requirements. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may choose not to use the embedded scheduler and contact us by email instead. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or ask a question or make a complaint about our privacy practices.
Send requests to hello@capitalvoices.media. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
